EAS6701   Intermediate Chinese 2   (15 credits)

Description

This module continues on from EAS6700 and aims to provide students who have already achieved an intermediate level of Chinese with an opportunity to further their reading, speaking and comprehension skills through the use of themed 'real' Chinese language texts taken from a wide range of sources, including newspapers, journal, literature and the internet. All classes continue to revolve around a weekly theme in order to facilitate the acquisition of not only core vocabulary and grammar, but also certain knowledge of certain aspects of Chinese society, such as culture and the environment.
